Five Things I'm Currently {Loving}

I've realized that I call this blog of mine Nykki talks {Beauty} - Yet I have been slacking with the Beauty posts lately. Sorry for that; apparently I'm just having fun talking about me.me.me!

You know; I'm obsessed like that. not really. maybe sometimes.

So let's talk about five things that I have been loving lately.
1. Lash Injection {Too Faced}
The only reason I bought this mascara was because it was buy one get one free at Ulta; the truth is, I'm not a huge fan of Too Faced products {besides Lashgasm - i love Lashgasm}. This Mascara is pretty great though; I am definitely loving it; I actually got asked yesterday if I got lash extensions. This Mascara adds crazy length, but I just wish it added thickness and volume. I don't think it does. There are definitely some negatives about this mascara; but I am loving it right now. Full Review? soon.
2. {IMAN} Stick Foundation in Earth 3
You guys may be saying 'HUH?' right now, but I bought this for a very specific purpose. Contouring. I use this underneath my foundation in order to add some darkness where I later add contour/bronzing powder. It lays a great foundation of darkness && I love it! Let me know if your interested in a more detailed write up about this process.
3. {elf} eyebrow kit in Medium
I'm not gonna lie; I just recently started filling in my brows. To be honest; I have never really cared about them before. This is one of those things that I have learned along the way of beauty blogging. One of the reasons why I love blogging so much. I have learned how important this process is. I'm loving this eye brow kit, mostly because it's the only one I know. I am VERY interested to know what you use on your brows; and where I can buy it. I want to try some others. If you have a write up/You Tube video please let me know because I am currently obsessed with the whole eyebrow process. weird I know.
4. {Wet n Wild} blush in Heather Silk
I have mentioned this blush multiple times before including in my Best Beauty Products of 2012 -  {here} && {here} to name a couple. I have finally hit pan after quite some time of owning it {as you can tell from the horrible mess it is}. This is a perfect pink blush && I don't think I'll ever stop using it!
5. {MAC} Mineralize Skin Finish in Medium Dark
This is a product that I have really loved since I bought it. of course; I heard great things about it before I bought it && I feel like it's lived up to those great words. I use it over my foundation to perfect everything and add that extra bit of coverage. please don't ask me what happened to it to make that pattern, because I have no idea. I actually tried looking for something that could have done it; but can't find anything. crazy.

That's it; those are five things that I am loving right now. I hope this gives you the beauty fix you needed; I know it sure helped me! I want to start incorporating more reviews in; I am just such a perfectionist they need to be perfect before I will hit submit.

until next time; peace, love, && of course MAKEUP! :)

Today's Featured Beauty is Luchessa from Beauty Expression by Luchessa

You know when you {virtually} meet someone && you just know that they are one of those people you can really trust and count on? Luchessa is one of those girls. She is incredibly sweet and really cares about her readers. She has a survey up on her blog right now; asking her readers what they would like to see! How sweet is that? um... she also lives in Germany; that's pretty freaken cool.
She takes some of the most creative pictures I've seen {here} && {here}.

What she blogs about: beauty and trends, traveling, new delicious food, healthy lifestyle.

{I asked} If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be && why?
This question seems to be so easy on the first gaze, but it actually is quite multilayered
There would be so many different events, that i would love to witness, like the Fall of the Berlin Wall, or one of Marie-Antoinette's ball's, the construction the Eiffel Tower, or something as fun and glamorous, as a fashion show with the biggerst supermodels of the 90's: Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Tatjana Patitz, Stephanie Seymour and Claudia Schiffer. How great would that be?! But if i had to pick a very special event, i would go with the day my bestie gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, on the first of february, so he is not even a month old now.
When you know each other for 15 years and something like that big happens, it completelly changes your perspective and makes you revaluate your life a little bit. So the birth of my godchild is a huge event, that i would love to experience again, because it's so dear to my heart!!

  6. That is so funny about the eyebrows because I swear I have become obsessed in the past 2 months too! I never really payed too much attention to mine either. Then I read an article on how they can either make or break your whole makeup look. So I've been slowly trying to create the perfect shape. I really like Wet n Wild's brow kit, it's only $3 or $4 and comes with 2 different color powders and wax, tweezers and a brush.

    Oh and thank you again for mentioning me in your share the love post! I think that's a great idea and want to do it either this week or next week :)

  7. How is that mascara for smudging? And where do you buy the Iman cosmetics? I hear about them but I can't recall ever seeing them in a store!!

  8. I've only just started filling in my eyebrows too! I'm very blonde, so I find it helps give them a bit more definition. I use the MUA kit (not sure if it's only available here in the UK) and a bit of clear mascara!
