Introducing 'The Wednesday Chronicles' {link up}

If you've followed my blog for awhile now; you will know that I am not new to this whole blog hop business. In fact, I started my first blog hop over a year ago. I just love them, but I have also learned a lot while doing them. What works, what doesn't work; and tbh; I've failed quite often with them.
but that's not going to happen this time right? Because I have some amazing subscribers.
&& this idea is pretty amazing, in my opinion.
What is it?
I have recently noticed Ange from Hairspray and High Heels posting 'posts from the Archives' on her Facebook page. These always intrigued me and I wanted to do the same thing. So I began thinking, maybe other bloggers would also want to join in && share their posts from the past.
We all know how often our older posts get left in the past. We work so hard on them; and once they are over a few weeks old - they don't get as much attention as we would like.
So; Ange && I will be starting up our very own {link up} party; where YOU all can add one of your favorite posts from your Archives. This link up with go up every Wednesday && the only qualification is that your post has to be at least one month in the past. They can be about anything!
I will be linking up my 'About Me' post this week. {updated in Nov. of 2012}
&& Ange will be linking up her 'Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit'
Next week; we will Feature one of YOUR 'Archived Posts' that you link up THIS WEEK.
The lucky blogger will be chosen via random.org {to keep it fair}

Nykki & Ange - that's a fab idea. I was always wondering, what the best method would be to share your "vintage posts" without coming across annoying or like having a "lack of ideas moment".
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing way to either show another blogging site of you (me for example - doing rarely a fashion or accessory posts) or remind your readers about an old but very important topic.
So i'm SO signing in here :D (as you know, following both of you already!)

I love this idea! I definitely know the feeling of loving a blog post I've written to the point that I really want to re-post it for people to see it again, haha.
ReplyDeleteAlso, since I'm a bit new to all the blogging terms, I'm a little confused as to what you mean by subscribing to the hosts. I followed you both using Google Friend (on your right sidebar), is that correct?
